OUR CAMPUSES AND FACILITIES

MeySen Academy is comprised of two campuses, named Maruyama and Takamori, located approximately 3 miles from each other in Sendai, Japan.  Each campus was designed to present a unique blend of Western and Japanese architecture in a natural setting.  MeySen has been awarded internationally by the American Institute of Architects in 2001 as one of their “Innovative Learning Environment” facilities as well as locally recognized by the city of Sendai, who awarded the school with a “Landscaping Award” in 2008.  This extraordinary environment, from our classrooms and assembly halls to the playgrounds and school barn, fosters the students’ engagement and learning.
